Thames Valley's Police & Crime Plan

Following the publication of the National Audit Office (NAO) report on the financial stability of police forces, I spoke to BBC Radio Berkshire about how the funding formula should be improved to benefit Thames Valley.

Force Open Day THIS SATURDAY!

Every summer, Thames Valley Police opens its doors to the public for its force Open Day.

Our force Open Day helps to promote greater understanding of the work of our various departments and specialist teams here at Thames Valley Police.

Victims and witnesses of hate crime who are not comfortable talking to the police now have a place to go to report incidents in South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse.

The Vale of White Horse District Council is exploring whether to take over on-street parking enforcement in the district.

Yesterday the new Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, published CONTEST - the UK's strategy for countering terrorism. The last strategy was published in 2011 and this review is much welcomed in the wake of several attack's last year and in response to the continually changing threat.

The bids are now in for the fund launched by the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Thames Valley, Anthony Stansfeld, aimed at organisations who can assist him in achieving key aims in his Police and Crime Plan.

There are just a few days left for rural communities to have their say on crime and policing where they live.

The National Rural Crime Survey comes to an end on 10 June and is asking key questions to ensure the voice of the countryside is heard.

A new tool to help find missing people with dementia is being used by Thames Valley Police in partnership with search and rescue teams of Thames Valley.
