I was delighted to receive the endorsement of the Police & Crime Panel for my appointment as Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the Thames Valley. The Panel, made up of representatives from every local authority in the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire, questioned both the Commissioner and myself on the appointment before voting unanimously in favour of the appointment.
I will begin work for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner as Deputy PCC in the new year.
