Ever wondered what happens to your food waste?

Have you ever wanted to know exactly what happens to your food scraps once they’ve been collected?

If so, we’ve got the tour for you!

Together with Agrivert, our contractors Biffa have arranged for a tour of the anaerobic digestion facility in Wallingford – basically, where your leftovers go if you’ve not composted them or managed to get creative with another recipe.

Previous food waste tours have proved very popular, and the next one will be held on Wednesday 10 September at 9.45am.

If you’d like to take a look around, please contact Alex Pyle from Biffa on 01865 409570 or email her at alex.pyle@biffa.co.uk.
