It's been around for nearly three years now, but the www.fixmystreet.com website is a fantastically useful tool for local people. It is a one-stopshop for reporting local problems, be it fly tipping, graffiti or faultystreet lights. The messages are automatically sent to the appropriate localcouncil, and anyone can sign up to get reports emailed to them to find outwhat's going on. Far too often people complain about problems with localservices, but never report it. This is one of the easiest ways of makingyour concerns known and logging it so that authorities can be held to account.
