West and Easy Hanney have recently joined together to publish a community plan for the two villages. Organised by a steering group led by Chris French they have produced and excellent document which sets out some ambitions for the villages over the coming years. The most important thing about the plan is that it is based on a wide evidence base. The steering group organised a detailed survey of every household, and got a response rate of up to 92%. Many of the actions are for individual groups and the parishes to take forward, but the plan will also be tabled at the September meeting of the Vale of White Horse District Council's Cabinet, to note the excellent work and to consider taking any specific ideas forward.
