The Vale of White Horse Local Plan has been given the go ahead to move to the next stage of the examination process. Vale of White Horse District Council has received a letter from Planning Inspector Malcolm Rivett confirming that following the Stage One hearings, which took place in September, the examination process can now progress to Stage Two hearings. Arrangements for Stage Two hearings will be published by the Planning Inspector in due course and will be made available on the council's website. Cllr Matthew Barber, Leader of Vale of White Horse District Council, said: "We welcome the Planning Inspector's decision to progress the Vale of White Horse Local Plan 2031 to Stage Two of the Examination and look forward to being able discuss its content in more detail prior to the Inspector’s formal recommendations. We can then progress to having an adopted local plan."
