No doubt I'll be proved wrong on most of them but here goes, with a few safe bet's to start with... England to win the Ashes as good as a done deal, so that's on in the bag! Me to become a father well I've done as much as I can on this one as well! Conservatives to win Vale elections this is certainly my attention. Obviously I'm biased, but the Lib Dems have had their chance at running things, and the results have been getting worse and worse. It will not be an easy ride in May, but we will give it everything we've got and then it's down to the voters. First past the post to stay I believe the public will see through the proposal for AV. First past the post is clear, (usually) decisive and gives ever voter equal power. Even most people who have been campaigning for voting reform don't want AV as proposed. Phew what a scorcher! It's going to be a lovely hot summer. OK, this may be more wishful thinking, but fingers crossed. Our economy will grow at a slightly faster rate towards the end of the year, but a full recover won't be recognised until 2012/13. China's economy will continue to grow but at a much reduced rate from what we have seen recently. The Euro will collapse and tempting it will be to say 'I told you so', it will undoubtedly have a knock on effect to our own economy.
