This morning I attended the official opening of Goddard Court (Ferngrove, to those of us who've been in Faringdon for years). It is a development of 11 new homes, most of which are now occupied. Appropriately George Goddard was in attendance, to cut the ribbon. The development is named after his late brother who died during the Second World War, it follows the recent tradition of naming streets in the town after names on Faringdon's war memorials.
