On Thursday 11th March I'll be taking part in the Mayor of Witney'ssponsored firewalk, and raising funds for Helen & Douglas House. Few peoplein Oxfordshire will not know about the amazing work that Helen & Douglas dofor so many children and families. Helen House was the world's firstchildren's hospice, opening in November 1982. It sprang from the friendship between Sister Frances Dominica and the parents of a seriously ill little girl called Helen who lived at home with her family but required 24 hourcare.I hope my friends will help me to raise as much money as possible for thisexcellent charity, and those who aren't my friends might just pay to see meget my feet burnt!
