This morning I attended the opening of Williams Advanced Engineering at their Headquarters in Grove. More details about the facility and what they do can be found by clicking here. The Prime Minister, David Cameron, toured the facility before formally opening it. I am delighted that Sir Frank Williams has chosen to secure the place of Williams F1 at Grove by expanding the operation on the site. Formula 1 is a great British success story but also a great local success. Thousands of people are employed by companies directly and indirectly connected with the race industry in the Vale of White Horse alone. The expansion of Williams into developing new technology outside of Formula 1 is great news for the future of the business and the wider economy.
