This summer why not go for go for a dip in the glorious outdoors as Abingdon’s Abbey Meadow Pool opens its doors for the new season.
Following a lick of paint by the Friends of Abbey Meadow Pool, the heated outdoor pool will be open again for public use on Saturday 24 May. This bank holiday weekend will also see the popular interactive water feature, located right next to Abbey Meadow Pool, switched on for the first time this year.

Abbey Meadow Pool, which is located on the bank of the River Thames in Abingdon, is the perfect place to spend a lazy summer day. The site features a 40 metre heated outdoor pool, learner pool, changing rooms and refreshment kiosk.

As well as visiting the pool and water feature, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy riverside walks, tennis, mini golf and a children’s play area.
The pool and interactive water feature will remain in operation, weather permitting, until Sunday 31 August..
