Vote for faster broadband now!

Wednesday, 13 October, 2010

BT have launched their race to infinity. Infinity is the name for their new, faster, fibre optic broadband service. They are selecting the bigger exchanges first to convert, but they are asking members of the public to vote if they want their local exchange converted faster. Only local MP, Ed Vaizey, is the Minister for Communications and is a great supporter of faster broadband. Click here to vote on BT's website and register your interest. The more people who register the more likely we are to have our broadband upgraded. It will be great for residential customers, but could be a fantastic support for businesses in rural areas. I am also putting a motion to the Vale Council next week asking the Council to support the campaign for improved broadband locally. Get voting!
