Waste collection update

Tuesday, 21 December, 2010

I'm still hoping the Lib Dems will change their minds and try to catch up with deliveries before Christmas. Collections are due to start again tomorrow subject to the weather. I'll post an update as and when I hear any more. In the meantime, yesterday I was asked to clarify the current situation for the build up of waste. I'm told that people have three options as things stand: 1. People can put their recycling in with the rubbish next week to get rid of their waste as quickly and easily as possible. 2. You can take your recycling to a recycling centre. 3. Or hang on and wait for the next recycling collection in 2 weeks. Personally I think efforts should be made to catch up as in neighbouring West Oxfordshire, but this is the situation at the moment!
