Faringdon paid it's respects to three fallen British soliders today. In what has sadly become a regular tribute organised by local representatives of the Royal British Legion, I joined Ed Vaizey MP, local retained firefighters and many others, to honour the funeral cortege. Around 50 people gathered at the Folly layby on the A420 as the Police closed the road. It was a very moving tribute, and the sacrifice of those soldiers and their comrades was at the forefront of everyone's minds as the flag of the Royal British Legions was lowered in their honour.
